Jeremy Rabus uses a purely improvised visual call-and-response process as he works. Dribbled paint, translucent glazes, and organic flourishes oppose, embrace, and traverse one another, often against geometric structures. The imagery, ultimately orchestrated from layered visual elements, generates what amounts to a collective, purely psychic landscape described as muted chromatic, conceptual, and emotional extremes.
